24 young people participated in Youth Exchange project
Young people from less-privileged regions obtained the opportunity to educate through project funded from Erasmus+ Programme.

Nongovermental organisation (NGO) «Protect work» was successful in obtaining funds from the Erasmus + program. 24 young people aged 15-20 from 4 countries (Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine and Czech republic) were involved in the project called Youth for Youth, finishing 30 April.
The project has enabled young people to contribute to addressing the issue of future employment in the labor market and daily life activities, the project helped young people to become more successful. The main activity of the project was to support entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial literacy. The outcome of the project is the common brand - a common social enterprise created by young people.
One of the interesting activities was the meeting with employers and entrepreneurs who gave young people useful advice on what to do if they want to be involved in the labor market successfully. On the other hand, employers have been given the opportunity to be informed how youth organisations are working to develop skills and selfdevelopment of young people. Among other things, they could see with their own eyes how many young people want to do something for their future.
The Youth Exchange Project is one of the tools that meets the goals of the organisation.
Protect work:
- enable young people to acquire knowledge, develop skills and shape attitudes
- contribute to their personal development, social inclusion as well as to the development of young people's active citizenship
- increase their opportunities to get involved in the labor market and to obtain success in the daily life activities.
Erasmus+ Programe is a European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport with a budget of € 14.7 billion for the period 2014-2020. In Slovakia, the programme is administered by SAAIC (in education and training) and IUVENTA (in youth and sport).
The project received funding under Key Action 1 of the Erasmus + KA1 Programme - EDUCATIONAL MOBILITY OF INDIVIDUALS

Erasmus+ Programme is a European Union program for education, training, youth mobility and sport for the period 2014-2020. Two thirds of funding is provided for grants to about 4 million people for study, training and work experience, or for voluntary activities in the period 2014-2020 (compared to € 2.7 billion in 2007-2013).
